Built For
Fabric is the platform Microsoft has bet its entire analytics story on, and the certified talent pool is still small. Tap any card below to see why it fits you.
Aspiring data engineers starting from the beginning
Tap to learn moreModule 1 covers the DP-900 fundamentals the engineer exam assumes you already know. Basic SQL familiarity helps, but you do not need prior data engineering experience to start here.
BI, ETL and warehouse developers moving to the modern stack
Tap to learn moreYour SQL and modelling skills carry over directly. What you add is the lakehouse, PySpark, real time intelligence and the CI/CD practice that recruiters now screen for.
Anyone who was studying for DP-203
Tap to learn moreStop. That exam no longer exists. DP-700 is built on a different platform and KQL is usually the biggest new skill for people arriving from Synapse. We give it a full weekend rather than a mention.
Analysts and Power BI developers going upstream
Tap to learn morePower BI now lives inside Fabric, so the step from report building to owning the pipelines behind them is shorter than it has ever been, and it is where the salary difference sits.
Curriculum
Eight modules taught live across 8 weekends. The three DP-700 domains carry roughly equal weight, so the schedule gives each of them real class time instead of over investing in the comfortable material. Fundamentals come first, the exam sprint comes second last, and the final weekend adds the AI engineering layer nobody else teaches.

The engineer exam assumes the fundamentals are already in your head. Rather than assume that of you, we teach them, which is why someone new to data can start here and still finish exam ready.

The first DP-700 domain is about the environment around the data: who can reach what, how work is promoted, and how the platform is governed.

Ingestion is where the second domain begins, and where most real projects lose time. The exam tests loading patterns rather than button clicking.

The heart of Fabric data engineering. PySpark is one of the three languages the exam expects you to read and write comfortably.

The relational half of the platform, plus the architecture pattern every Fabric project you join will already be using.

For anyone coming from Synapse or another cloud, KQL is usually the single biggest new skill on this exam. It gets a full weekend rather than an afternoon.

The third domain plus a full exam rehearsal. One detail worth knowing: Microsoft Learn is available in a split screen during this exam, and knowing how to use it quickly is a skill of its own.

The weekend no competitor includes. Pipeline code, tests and documentation are already being written with AI assistance on the teams that are hiring, and doing it well is now a differentiator in interviews.
Portfolio
Each project, drawn as the system you build: the real tools, and the data moving through them. Scroll; they animate.
CSV, JSON and SQL sources ingested with pipelines and Dataflows Gen2, using shortcuts where copying is unnecessary, landed clean.
Bronze → silver → gold on retail sales with PySpark transforms, Delta optimisation, quality rules between layers and a Direct Lake report on top.
Live device events through Eventstream into an Eventhouse, queried with KQL, on a real-time dashboard, wired to an Activator alert.
A Fabric warehouse with dimensional modelling, row- and column-level security, Git integration and a pipeline promoting changes across three environments.
Claude wired into your workflow to generate pipeline code, quality tests and docs against a real backlog — time saved measured, errors recorded.

Certification & Partnerships
Module 1 covers the DP-900 fundamentals, and Modules 2 to 7 map to the three DP-700 domains, which carry roughly equal weight so none of them can be skipped. Every module is delivered live by trainers authorized by the partners below.
Authorized Training & Technology Partners
The current Microsoft credential for data engineers, and the successor to the retired DP-203. It validates ingestion, transformation, security, monitoring and optimisation across Microsoft Fabric, with skills measured refreshed on 26 January 2026.
The foundation credential the data engineer exam assumes you already hold in your head: relational and non relational data, batch against streaming, analytics workloads and the core services. Module 1 prepares you for it, which is why beginners can start here.
Certification exams are administered independently by Microsoft and are not included in program tuition. DP-700 carries a free annual renewal assessment once earned.

Enroll NowPut it in perspective: comparable Fabric data engineer programs run at a similar price for DP-700 alone, and many still teach a Synapse era syllabus. This covers DP-700 and DP-900, gives KQL and real time intelligence a full weekend rather than a mention, ships five builds in your own workspace, includes a domain scored mock, and adds a Claude data engineering weekend nobody else offers.

Stop and switch. Microsoft retired DP-203 in March 2025 and DP-700 is the current data engineering credential. It is built on a different platform: Fabric rather than Synapse, OneLake rather than Data Lake Storage, and KQL alongside SQL. Most of your data thinking transfers, but the tooling does not, and KQL is usually the biggest gap.
No. Module 1 covers the DP-900 fundamentals that the engineer exam assumes you already hold. Basic SQL familiarity helps you move faster, but the program is designed as a genuine path in from the beginning.
Three domains carrying roughly equal weight at 30 to 35 percent each, so none can be skipped. Expect around 40 to 60 questions in 100 minutes with a 700 pass mark, including case studies and interactive components. Microsoft Learn is available in a split screen during the exam, and Module 7 teaches you how to use that quickly rather than losing time in it.
DP-700, Fabric Data Engineer Associate, and DP-900, Azure Data Fundamentals, with a domain scored mock for DP-700. Exam vouchers are purchased separately from Microsoft. DP-700 carries a free annual renewal assessment once earned.
No. The projects are built on the Fabric trial capacity and free tier services, and we cover capacity and cost awareness as part of Module 7 so you understand what workloads cost before you run them at work.
Every session is recorded and you keep lifetime access, plus the option to re attend any future batch at no extra cost.
