Two Expert Credentials New Launch

Azure Solutions Architect & DevOps Course: AZ-305 + AZ-400

AZ-305 and AZ-400, the two highest paid Azure credentials, in one live program

  • Prepare for both Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, which consistently rank among the highest paid Azure credentials worldwide
  • Both are expert level and need an associate prerequisite first. Module 1 is a full AZ-104 bridge, so you are not left to solve that on your own after paying for a course
  • Build it rather than read it: hub and spoke landing zones, Bicep and Terraform, AKS, progressive delivery and a monitored production release in your own subscription

Built For

Who This Azure Solutions Architect Course Is For

Azure runs the enterprise in India, and architect plus DevOps is its highest leverage pairing. Tap any card below to see why it fits you.

Azure administrators moving up to architect

Tap to learn more

If you already run workloads on Azure, AZ-305 formalises what you half know and closes the design gaps. That is the step from operator to architect, and it is the one that changes your salary band.

Developers on Microsoft stacks who want to own delivery

Tap to learn more

Adding pipelines, infrastructure as code and AKS turns a developer into the engineer who ships and runs the system. In Azure shops that profile carries a clear premium.

AWS or on premise engineers adding Azure

Tap to learn more

Most large Indian enterprises are multi cloud with Azure at the centre. Your existing concepts transfer, and we map them onto the Azure services and the exam language rather than starting you from zero.

DevOps engineers targeting the expert level jump

Tap to learn more

AZ-400 plus real AKS, Bicep and progressive delivery work moves you into senior DevOps and platform engineering conversations, with AI assisted operations as the differentiator very few candidates bring.

Curriculum

Azure Solutions Architect Course Syllabus, Module by Module

Twelve modules taught live across 12 weekends. The architecture track runs first and ends in an AZ-305 exam sprint, the DevOps track follows and ends in an AZ-400 sprint, and the final weekend adds the AI assisted engineering layer no other provider teaches. Module 1 is the associate level bridge both expert exams require.

1Azure Foundations and the AZ-104 BridgeModule 1

Both AZ-305 and AZ-400 sit behind an associate level prerequisite. Rather than assume you hold it, we teach it. If you already have AZ-104 this module is your revision weekend.

  • Tenants, management groups, subscriptions and resource organisation
  • Entra ID identities, groups, RBAC and conditional access basics
  • Azure Policy, tags, blueprints and cost governance from day one
  • Storage accounts, redundancy options and access control
  • Core networking and monitoring concepts the expert exams assume you know
  • Hands on: build a governed landing subscription from scratch
Prerequisite bridgeDeliverable: Governance baseline document
2Network Architecture: Hub and Spoke to the EdgeModule 2

Networking is where architecture interviews and exam case studies concentrate, because it is the layer that is expensive to get wrong.

  • VNet design, subnetting, peering and hub and spoke topology
  • Network security groups, application security groups and private endpoints
  • Load Balancer, Application Gateway with WAF, and Front Door at the edge
  • ExpressRoute and VPN for hybrid connectivity
  • DNS design, both private and public
  • Hands on: a hub and spoke network with a protected, scaled web tier
AZ-305: infrastructure designDeliverable: Hub and spoke reference architecture
3Compute, Applications and Data Platform DesignModule 3

The exam gives you a workload and asks which platform fits. This module builds the judgement to answer that in one pass.

  • Virtual machines, scale sets, App Service, Container Apps and Functions compared
  • Choosing a compute platform against cost, control and operational burden
  • Azure SQL service tiers, high availability and backup design
  • Cosmos DB models, consistency levels and partitioning
  • Blob tiers, lifecycle policies and data residency requirements
  • Hands on: design the full data and compute layer for an enterprise application
AZ-305: data storage and infrastructure designDeliverable: Platform design document
4Identity, Security and Business Continuity by DesignModule 4

Continuity questions are answered with numbers. We teach the maths behind availability targets so you can defend a design rather than guess at it.

  • Identity architecture: managed identity, service principals, workload identity federation
  • Zero trust principles applied to an Azure estate
  • Availability zones, availability sets and how SLA composition actually works
  • Backup, Azure Site Recovery and designing to a stated RTO and RPO
  • Encryption, Key Vault and secrets architecture
  • Hands on: a disaster recovery plan with a failover drill you actually run
AZ-305: business continuity and securityDeliverable: Tested DR runbook
5AZ-305 Design Synthesis and Exam SprintModule 5

The architect exam is case study heavy. This weekend is spent working full case studies under time rather than reviewing slides.

  • The Well Architected Framework applied to exam scenarios
  • Full length case studies worked end to end as a group
  • The four AZ-305 design areas reviewed in blueprint proportion
  • A full length domain scored mock plus score report review
  • Exam booking, question strategy and time management

Architecture milestone: you are exam ready for AZ-305

6Azure DevOps: Boards, Repos and YAML PipelinesModule 6

The DevOps track opens with the tooling the exam is named after, and with the source control strategy questions candidates routinely underestimate.

  • Boards, backlogs and the flow of work through an engineering team
  • Repos, branching strategies, branch policies and pull request workflows
  • YAML pipelines: stages, jobs, templates, variable groups and environments
  • Approvals, gates and deployment protection rules
  • Self hosted against Microsoft hosted agents, and when each is right
  • Hands on: a multi stage commit to deploy pipeline with approvals
AZ-400: source control and pipelinesDeliverable: Multi stage pipeline
7Infrastructure as Code: ARM, Bicep and TerraformModule 7

Every serious Azure estate is defined in code. The exam expects Bicep fluency, the market expects Terraform, so you learn both.

  • ARM templates and why Bicep replaced hand written JSON
  • Bicep modules, parameters, scopes and what if deployments
  • Terraform on Azure: providers, state management, modules and workspaces
  • Multi environment patterns across development, staging and production
  • Drift detection, policy as code and preventing configuration decay
  • Hands on: deploy an entire environment from code in a single run
AZ-400: infrastructure as codeDeliverable: Reusable module library
8Containers: Docker, ACR and Azure Kubernetes ServiceModule 8

Containers are the delivery target for most new Azure workloads, and AKS operations is the skill that separates senior DevOps candidates.

  • Docker images, multi stage builds and image hygiene
  • Azure Container Registry, geo replication and image scanning
  • AKS core objects: deployments, services, ingress, config and secrets
  • Node pools, cluster upgrades, autoscaling and workload identity
  • Helm for packaging and repeatable releases
  • Hands on: containerise a service and run it on AKS behind ingress
AZ-400: modern deliveryDeliverable: Microservice running on AKS
9Release Strategy: GitHub Actions and Progressive DeliveryModule 9

Shipping without downtime is a design decision, not a hope. This module covers the release patterns the exam and real teams both expect.

  • GitHub Actions workflows and OIDC federation to Azure without secrets
  • Choosing between Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions in a real organisation
  • Blue green, canary and ring based deployment patterns
  • Feature flags and decoupling release from deployment
  • Database change management alongside application releases
  • Hands on: progressive delivery to AKS with automatic rollback on failure
AZ-400: release strategyDeliverable: Progressive delivery workflow
10Secure Delivery: Secrets, Supply Chain and ComplianceModule 10

Security in the pipeline is a full AZ-400 objective and the first thing an enterprise review will test.

  • Key Vault integration, secret rotation and eliminating stored credentials
  • Workload identity federation and keyless deployment
  • Dependency scanning, secret scanning and software bill of materials
  • Container image scanning and admission control
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud and compliance reporting
  • Hands on: a pipeline that fails the build on a real vulnerability
AZ-400: security and complianceDeliverable: Hardened delivery pipeline
11Observability, Feedback and AZ-400 Exam SprintModule 11

The feedback loop objective is the one most candidates revise last and lose marks on. It is also what makes on call survivable.

  • Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and writing KQL that answers real questions
  • Application Insights, distributed tracing and dependency mapping
  • Service level objectives, error budgets and actionable alerting
  • Incident response, blameless postmortems and continuous feedback
  • The full AZ-400 outline reviewed in blueprint proportion
  • A full length domain scored mock plus score report review

FAQ

Azure Solutions Architect Course FAQs

Do AZ-305 and AZ-400 have prerequisites?

Yes. Both are expert level credentials and Microsoft requires an associate level certification first, which in practice means AZ-104. That is exactly why Module 1 is a full AZ-104 bridge. If you already hold it, treat that weekend as revision.

Are AZ-305 and AZ-400 still current after the 2026 certification changes?

Yes. Microsoft retired a number of credentials in 2026, including AZ-204, AZ-500 and AI-102, but AZ-305 and AZ-400 remain active. AZ-305 had its objectives refreshed in April 2026, and we teach against the current outline.

Do I need Azure experience to start?

No. Module 1 begins from subscriptions, identity and governance. Any IT, development or infrastructure background helps you move faster, but the program is built to take you from foundations to expert level across the twelve weekends.

Will Azure costs be extra during the projects?

Projects are designed around free tier and low cost service levels with teardown scripts provided, so out of pocket cloud spend stays minimal. Cost governance is itself part of the curriculum, starting in Module 1.

Why is a Claude module in an Azure program?

Because infrastructure code, runbooks, release notes and incident response are already being written with AI assistance in the teams that are hiring. Module 12 teaches you to use it well and, just as importantly, to catch what it gets wrong.

What if I miss a class?

Every session is recorded and you keep lifetime access, plus the option to re attend any future batch at no extra cost.
