What does a Data Engineer actually do?
A data engineer builds the plumbing everything else runs on — ingesting raw data from source systems, modelling and transforming it through bronze, silver and gold layers, orchestrating the jobs that keep it fresh, and making sure analysts, dashboards and AI systems get clean data they can trust. It's software engineering applied to data, not report writing.

The program preps you for both, plus using Claude in a real data engineering workflow.
